The purpose of this Privacy Notice is to inform you of:

  • the information, including personal information, we may collect about you when you visit our Website (as defined below), respond to our emails, place orders, provide product reviews, chat with our virtual gifting assistants, submit website feedback, participate in sweepstakes and promotions, receive orders, use our mobile applications, place orders through social media applications (such as our Facebook App), use our Gift Service or otherwise contact us via telephone, text (SMS, MMS), email, social media, fax, mail, or courier service (collectively, our "Service"),

  • how we use it (including with whom we may share it),
  • how we secure your personal information, and
  • the choices you have regarding our use of, and your access to and correction and deletion of, personal information you have provided.

This Privacy Notice is part of the Use, which governs your use of our website located at L & T Associate's, as well as the websites of our other site Affiliations and Third-Paty Partners or Associates linked to this Privacy Notice (the "Website") and the Service. The Service is operated by L & T Associate's (the "Company"). This Privacy Notice does not cover information you provide to our independently owned and operated Advertising retail stores and Services and other business, from those that are not directly affiliated with this website, but they just advertise here.

For purposes of this Privacy Notice, except as noted below and unless you are explicitly notified otherwise, the Company is the controller of your personal information, and where the processing of personal information is also undertaken by our Affiliated Brands with whom you engage, the Affiliated Brands are joint controllers with the Company for your personal information. Joint controllers are all responsible for deciding how your personal information is held and used.

Please Note:

You must be 18 years or older and the age of majority in your place of residence to use, subscribe to, or register for the Service as a member (you have to be cautious in ordering if 18 years or older in the event that you place a request for transmission of an order for a product meant for adult's purchases such as lighters, incense, burning oils, and etc.). The Service is a general audience site and we do not knowingly collect, maintain or disclose personal information from or about children. If you are a parent or guardian of a child and become aware that your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us as described in this Privacy Notice and we will take reasonable steps to promptly remove any such information.

Our Commitment to Accessibility

The L & T Associate's Company is committed to making our website's content accessible and user friendly to everyone. If you are having difficulty viewing or navigating the content on the Website, or notice any content, feature, or functionality that you believe is not fully accessible to people with disabilities, please call us at 1-312-889-2427 or email our team at landtassociates@yahoo.com with “Disabled Access” in the subject line and provide a description of the specific feature you feel is not fully accessible or a suggestion for improvement. We take your feedback seriously and will consider it as we evaluate ways to accommodate all of our customers and our overall accessibility policies. Additionally, while we do not control such vendors, we strongly encourage vendors of third-party digital content to provide content that is accessible and user friendly.

We may also gather information about you from third parties, such as social media sites, data co-ops, and demographics data providers.

How we use "Cookies" and "Action Tags."

A "cookie" is a small data file sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer. We use cookies primarily to let us know that you are a prior customer, user or registered member and to provide certain features to you. Most web browsers allow you to instruct the browser to prevent the use of cookies. However, if you disable this feature, certain aspects of the Services, such as the shopping basket, may not function properly. If you are accessing our website from outside the United States, you may manage your cookie preferences directly through the provided tool.

We have relationships with third parties who may collect or receive information directly from the cookies placed by our Service on your computer to assist in analyzing our business and customers, and to give credit to other sites that direct traffic to our website for marketing purposes.

Our Service may also use a web technology called "action tags" (also called single pixel gifs, web beacons, local storage objects, and local shared objects) to track purchase, usage and other web activity information. Action tags may be used to provide data to third parties for tracking purposes. In addition, third parties may set their own cookies and tags through our Service (such as through interest-based advertising, described below). We do not control such third parties or their privacy practices. If you do not want third parties to be able to use such methods, you can modify your browser settings to limit such access.

Interest-based advertising.

1. Our Services. We collect data from you for use in interest-based advertising when you use our Service. Other companies may serve interest-based advertisements on our Service.

2. Other Services. Advertisements for our products and services may appear on third party websites around the Internet. Some websites and services deliver these advertisements based upon data that has been previously collected about your past behavior online. For example, if you have viewed websites about gift baskets, these websites or services may display to you an advertisement for our gift baskets. This kind of targeted advertising is sometimes called interest-based or online behavioral advertising. We do not control such third-party websites or services on which these advertisements appear. Further, we do not control how they collect and use data about your online activities.

3. Consent. You may opt-out of being tracked online by certain companies going to your internet settings and you may also learn more about online behavioral advertising at such websites. If you opt-out, you will still receive generic advertisements, but they will not be delivered to you by such companies from whom you have opted out based upon your behavioral data possessed by the companies from whom you have opted-out. This process relies upon an opt-out cookie for each browser and each device, so if you delete your cookies or use a different computer, you will have to repeat this process.

D. Mobile Push Notifications.

As a user who has downloaded our Company’s mobile application(s), we may from time to time send you push notifications to your device to communicate with you and advise you of current offers and promotions. To ensure that you receive timely notification of such communications and promotions, we need to collect certain information from your device as indicated above. If at any time you do not wish to receive these types of communications, you may turn them off on your device.

E. Mobile Analytics.

We use mobile analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our Company’s mobile application(s) on your device. This software may record information such as how often you use the application, the events that occur within the application, usage, performance data, and the source from which the application was downloaded. We do not link the information we store within the analytics software to any personal information you submit within the mobile application.

We may also work with third parties that collect data about your use of the Website and other sites or apps over time for non-advertising purposes, subject to their privacy policies. We use third party analytics as well.

F. From Other Businesses Who Ask Us to Process Your Information

On occasion, our Company and Affiliates may operate as a data processor of your personal information rather than a controller. For example, our corporate gifting program enables companies to send gifts to their employees, clients, or other persons, which involves the provision of certain elements of personal information. We then process this information in order to send gifts to those persons. In situations like this, when we act as a processor, the privacy statement of the relevant controller and our agreements with such businesses or entities will govern our processing of the applicable personal information.

HOW WE USE/SHARE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We use information we collect to communicate with you, to process orders, to improve our products and services (such as by responding to your feedback), to conduct research (such as statistics on favorite -- i.e., most ordered -- products), to provide an enhanced and more personalized shopping experience (for instance, to provide event reminders, such as birthdays), to inform you and your gift recipients of offers and discounts from the L & T Associate's and Company, Affiliates, our Third-Party's and to enable you to receive credits for purchases under loyalty or buying programs that you have joined.

We may also use your information, as necessary or appropriate in our view, to operate the Service, to respond to your inquiries, to process orders or registrations, to conduct promotions, contests, and sweepstakes in which you participate, to protect the Website, the Company, and others, and to prevent fraud, theft, and misconduct.

We may combine information we receive about you via our Service with information from our Affiliates and third parties. We use the combined information to enhance and personalize your shopping experience with us (for example, by keeping your profile up to date) and to communicate with you in accordance with this Privacy Notice. We may also use your personal information as indicated at the time of collection or with your consent (where required by applicable law).

In addition, as provided below, the Company may use or share your data with both affiliated and unrelated third parties, for the purposes so identified.

A. Affiliate Data Sharing.

We may provide your information to our Company Affiliates for use in connection with their businesses, including sending you offers and promotions. They are required to comply with this Privacy Notice. The following categories of information may be shared with our Company Affiliates:

This information will be shared with our Gift Service for the purpose of administering the Gift Service.

Gift Recipient: If a customer has elected to send you a gift using Our Gift Service, your personal information, which is required to deliver the gift to you, will be shared with our Gift Service for the limited purpose of administering the Gift Service.

C. Sharing with Others.

We may also share your information with third parties, including service providers engaged to provide services on our behalf, and may authorize them to use such information for our benefit, for instance, to process your order and to better communicate and provide appropriate offers to you and your gift recipient(s).

Examples of our information sharing include:

  1. Internally We may share your information with Company Affiliates as described above, as well as subcontractors, agents, and consultants, who help us operate and improve our businesses and services.

This may include third parties that support or facilitate our marketing efforts and advertising campaigns, including those based on online behavioral advertising. However, personal information collected through our short code programs (SMS and MMS text messaging) is not shared with affiliated or unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
  5. With Any Successors to All or Part of Our Business. For example, if we merge with, acquire or are acquired by another business entity. This may include an asset sale, corporate reorganization or other change of control.
  6. To Comply with the Law or To Protect Ourselves For example, this could include determining your eligibility to purchase a certain product or responding to a court order or subpoena. It could also include sharing information for other legal purposes as set forth in Section E below. We may share information when we are investigating a potential fraud. This could include fraud we think has occurred during a sweepstakes or promotion. We may also share information if you are the winner of a sweepstakes or other contest with anyone who requests a winners list.
  7. To Update Our Records We may use your information to match it with other public and private data sources (such as the U.S. Postal Service and publicly available consumer data warehouses) or the records of our business partners solely to enhance our records and keep them current (such as by updating your profile with a new address, interests, and the like). We also may work with other third parties who possess your information to enrich and update our records for purposes of our advertising or promotional endeavors.

In addition, we may make such information (except for credit/debit card numbers, expiration dates and CVV codes, unless you consent otherwise), including aggregated information, available to selected third parties for other reasons that we may describe to you at the time of collection.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY NOTICE

The Company may change this Privacy Notice from time to time in the future. Any changes will be posted here and reflect the date of such changes on the first page of this Privacy Notice. We advise you to check back frequently to see any updates or changes.

By using the Website and the Service, after such changes take effect, you agree to be legally bound and to abide by the revised Privacy Notice and Terms of Use, of which this Notice is a part.

Your privacy is what is important to us. We respect the fact that you want your privacy and that it is important to you. Privacy protects a lot of things and protects others from being hurt. The shocking news that people may see or hear may alarm them, while another person is trying to heal. What another person has heard or seen can be alarming to them but if that privacy for the person had been there it would not have corrupted them in their mind, and now that hasn't changed. Yes, it is possible to change but when you violate someone's privacy it may hurt the person who was violated, cause complications and it can become hard to heal or fix. Trust is lost, the relationship has changed because of an act that was uncaused for, IF INDEED IT WAS UNCAUSED FOR, and now someone looks at you differently. They might not want to let you in and if they do it will be especially with much caution.

Privacy should never be violated. It can uncover a person, a very important or special person. Even if someone doesn't think one is important it may be that they are. Coverings are for protection (THAT'S WHAT PRIVACY DOES FOR SOME PEOPLE). Such as a building, for example, buildings are for coverings and protection. No one usually picks to stay out in the open or live in the open public where everyone watches them do private things. There are things that should be kept private. When should your privacy be violated or stopped? It is believed that this should occur during times that will be for that person's protection or to protect them from harm. (You will have to know when this time is and know how to do it properly.)

L & T Associate's wants to protect your privacy today and to do the best to help you make the best decisions for you, who are the client.

How we use your Personal Data

Personal data is collected to provide you with our services. Some of your information will be deleted during the process for your comfort. We will use your information for the use of your services with us only. It will be used for credit with us also. Just stay informed.

Your privacy is our concern, so we respect the personal data or information that you give us. Your information cannot be given to others without your consent. We will never sell your information. We also agree not to give out your information to others for free.

When you complete certain services, you will have the option to delete some of your personal data. We would like you to keep some information for your records and our records to further help you with our services, in case you need records to help you with other services or as an informational packet to help you somewhere else. We will also use your information to connect you with our services and for your protection and proof of whereabouts.

Email Privacy

Security & Privacy

L & T Associate's protects your security and privacy. If you receive such a request for credit card numbers, pins, and social security numbers please do not respond to the email. You can always choose the option to call L & T Associate's or contact us with an email to be sure that the email was sent from our Company.

Spotting Scams

  • People can call you and ask you for your personal information: such as your address, city and state, social security number, membership number, ask what you have ordered and more.
  • People can call and act like they are a L & T Associate's Representative at Landtassociates.net or that they are from Moon & Back at moonandback.biz.

We will plan to work on other ideas on information about ways that people can try to scam you. So, in the meantime just be skeptical about the calls that you receive from a L & T Associate's Representative or Moon & Back's Department. Don't be afraid to ask questions, especially to identify that they are an actual Representative from L & T Associate's or an employer of Moon & Back Department.
